Back to Waldo

Here's some photos of our return to Waldo lake in late August. The mosquitoes were mostly gone and the lake was nice and warmish. We had a great 3 day weekend.

Audrey in August

Here are a few random pictures of Audrey entertaining us this month. She has been pretty hilarious - very sassy, but lots of fun.

Watching her favorite Disney movie - Mary Poppins! We've put a few Disney movies on for her the last couple of months, but none of them get the intense concentration as Mary Poppins. She loves watching the little kids.

California

At the end of the July we headed down to California to see our friends get married near Lake Tahoe. We left a few days early and spent a couple of days visiting Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park. It was our longest car ride with Audrey yet and she was a champ!

Audrey is learning quick and even helping set up camp.

She thought the bear box was a fun place to hang out in and make noise.

We took a 3 mile hike out to Bumpass Hell one morning. It happened to be during Audrey's normal nap time, so she ended up sleeping for most of the hike.



Cousin Jonie and her family drove over from Redding and met us for dinner one night in the campground. It was so fun to see all of them, but unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. I know Jonie did, so hopefully we can copies.

We rented a house on the Yuba River with Mike, Erica and Owen and spent a relaxing morning enjoying the river, some breakfast and good company on the back patio. We then got to witness the marriage of our friends Drew and Debbie. It was beautiful wedding right on the shore of Donner Lake. Wish we could have stayed longer and gotten better pictures.
