Hiking with Dad

Last Sunday we awoke to to a beautiful sunny morning so Audrey and I decided to go on a hike. After some debate we decided upon the Browder Ridge Trail which was rumored to have a great display of wildflowers. We loaded up the car with peanut butter and jelly, crackers, toys, and 2 dogs and headed out. Audrey passed the time by taking a nap and we arrived a little before 11am. From the car it was 800 feet uphill to the ridge and the meadows. We made the hike smoothly with Audrey patting me on the back and encouraging. When we got to the top we were greeted by many flowers and mountain views. It was a beautiful day.

Powering up before the hike.

The first meadow.

A summit snack.
